I,
the undersigned, dance Argentine Tango in the UK.
I am concerned that
the proposed costs of the UKBA points based system and sponsorship for
migrant workers will marginalise or exclude access to dance maestros
who do not hold an EU passport.
The £400 sponsorship costs for one-off engagements in small clubs is not financially viable.
I value the unique, cultural and aesthetic tuition that these maestros bring to the UK. |
